I download my .zip files quite often (from Google Drive) with the .exe files included, with no problems.

German.zip downloads just fine for me.

As Steve suggests, the presence of an EXE within the ZIP may be triggering overzealous anti-malware, which often peek inside ZIP files.  Try removing that, as he suggests, since we all have QB64PE and can easily compile it.

Or if you insist on leaving the EXE in, then password-protect the ZIP file and post the password along with the ZIP.

I grew up with German (my dad and my mom's parents were all immigrants from the Black Forest region.) The articles are a pain, but once they are memorized then German goes a lot smoother.

On a brighter note, the spelling and pronunciation of German are completely consistent: if you can say it, you can spell it (and vice versa.) As opposed to the bastard English language (how many ways can one pronounce 'ough'?)
