I was trying to get output of your code
but after copy, paste in the IDE and save it . I got a compiler error both after F5 both after F11.

... I have no idea why this happens.

I've tried both; copied from this forum in 2 new bas files and compiled & run
What qb64pe version are you using? It looks like it can't find the compiler?

I have had a mystic trouble with security of my notebook just when I compiled your code! Fatality.
Peharps now I have solved.
