Dancing Tesla Coil To Music - SierraKen - 08-16-2024
Hi all,
Back in 2022 I made this with the help of Petr and probably others on this forum. It simulates a Tesla Coil that shoots lightning from a rod and the lightning dances with the music you choose. Tonight I added a file dialog box to easily be able to choose a song to play on it. I also added the ability to stop it during play to choose another song. I included an old album I created on my computer around 20 years ago in the zip file. The album has no lyrics, just electronic music.

Of course, like usual, I always make something better than my first post. LOL
Here is an updated version of the Tesla Coil. Instead of pressing Enter to open the file dialog, you left click the screen with your mouse.
I also improved the lightning bolts by adding some randomness in the equations to make it more realistic.
And like before, I am adding my short album I created from around 20 years ago. Try all kinds of different music, it's different for every song.
And please comment, I post these apps for you guys.

I like that! Very slick. That would be fun in fullscreen mode at my next drug-addled dance party - if I had dance parties...

OK, here's the ability to switch back and forth to Full Screen by press the Space Bar. I also fixed a problem with stopping the song and going back to the Menu.
Side Note: No, I don't recommend party drugs. lol
Edit: I just added the ability to use 32 and 64 bit computers.
