QB64PE Offline Wiki (Updated 11-18-2025) - SMcNeill - 03-13-2025 As we just paid up the server costs and all, I thought this would also be a nice time to make an offline snapshot of our wiki as well. Below, you'll see two choices for our an offline version of the wiki (current as of 11-18-2025). The larger file is about 65MB in size and contains all the HTTrack information which anyone would need to run it with HTTrack and just pick up and update things whenever they want. The smaller file is only about 6MB or so in size (Packed. I dunno about the unpacked size.), and it's *JUST* the wiki itself. If you ever think you might want to clone/update the wiki yourself with HTTrack, grab the large file. If you just want the wiki itself for offline reference, grab the small file. Or, if you're a digital pack rat like me, feel free to grab both. Enjoy, guys! (And, if you're a girl, or gay, I guess you can even "Enjoy guys!!". Commas *are* important in many things, just to impart proper meaning. )

RE: QB64PE Offline Wiki (March 2025) - SMcNeill - 09-14-2025 As we're nearing the end of the year, keep your eyes opened guys. I always try to get up a fresh version up and out in time for Christmas as well, so that should be here in the next few months.
RE: QB64PE Offline Wiki (March 2025) - Rudy M - 09-14-2025 Thanks for the offline version!!! RE: QB64PE Offline Wiki (Updated 11-18-2025) - SMcNeill - 11-18-2025 Updated -- In the first post you'll see that I've redid the wiki to be current and up to date as of 11-18-2025. I dunno if 7z is compressing better, or if I just somehow skipped a few images or something from the filter list this time that I grabbed last time, but our offline archive is coming in a few MB smaller than what it was last time I did this. I've run it and tested it somewhat on my PC and everything seems to be here properly, so I'm going ahead and sharing it for everybody to enjoy. If someone finds something wrong/missing from it, let me know and I'll try and sort out what option I missed with the mirroring software. After all, HTTrack only has about a dozen tabs of various options and permissions and depths and filters and all to sort through to do a proper mirror for us. It's not like it's *easy* or something to miss a new option or button or toggle with the software. ![]() Anywho, grab the version you want, same as always. (Or grab them both, I don't care.) One has the HTTrack info embedded in it (that's the large file), while the other is just our wiki info. The HTTrack archive is in case anyone else ever wants to try and grab/update a version on their own. It *should* have all the proper toggles toggled (unless the software makers obsoleted something in a version update or added something), so you should be able to download HTTrack, click the file, and then build the archive on your own. IF all you want is the wiki itself, however, then just grab the smaller file. It's much more portable and compact and user-friendly. It just doesn't save all that mirror information for you (which isn't part of the wiki to begin with, but an artifact from the mirroring software itself). Enjoy and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
RE: QB64PE Offline Wiki (Updated 11-18-2025) - hsiangch_ong - 11-20-2025 thank you. ? this is very much needed. decided to choose to open clunky web browser. without going online. to see "real" help for this programming system. instead of opening text files. in "qb64pe/internal/help" in the text editor. trying to make out the special tags away from the useful information about programming. |
