just got a security warning that the QB64pe IDE was trying to access the network, is that normal?

Hi, I'm new to the forum, but my guess would be the IDE trying to access the wiki, maybe?

Using while $DEBUG? Then it's normal. And yes also when loading a help page which isn't cached yet it makes an access to our Wiki.

I did not intentionally enable $DEBUG or tried to access the wiki, perhaps I accidentally pressed a keyboard shortcut

F4 can do it with Debug.  I click it all the time instead of F5 if the room is dark.

Just do what I did and remove your F4 key. Steve, Rho, Jack and I don't make any mistakes, anyway, so we don't need debug. WHAT??? My system just froze. Oh well, no problem, just press Alt + ... Son of a batch!!!

Ctrl - Alt - Delete  ... WTF needs an F4?!
