Good MacOs Font? - BlameTroi - 05-22-2025

I'm trying to find a reasonable font for QB64pe on my Mac. Everything I've tried so far is too faint--the pieces of the glyphs are too narrow and sometimes appear dashed. The best I've found so far is JetBrains Mono Medium (Nerd Font variant or not makes no difference). With this I can most of the charcter distinct enough but the right edge is clipped, so the right vertical of "0" is much thinner than the left.

I can just switch to Vim, but sometimes I like the IDE Smile

Same here. None of the built-in macOS fonts suit my taste in the IDE. I use this font across all three OSes: https://www.dafont.com/nouveau-ibm.font

There’s something about its design that really appeals to me, and at size 17, it looks fantastic on my 1440p display.

Thanks guys, I'll look at both. I may also check out https://usgraphics.com/products/berkeley-mono. It isn't free but it is inexpensive. (Old IBM Mainframe type here).

So far lucon.ttf is looking the best throughout the IDE. This gets me going, thanks again.

Hey Lucon 18 is what I use! thanks to Terry Ritchie.
