Why is this supported as a default thing but the rest of the GLU library isnt?

IDK, maybe this was necessary for the camera settings.

Correct. Only that single function was cherry-picked from GLU and included in libqb. libqb itself uses this function internally. So, I assume Galleon made it available for everyone's convenience.
