2025 Musical Christmas card to everyone - Dav - 12-09-2025
Here's my personal 2025 musical Christmas card to everyone here. It plays/loops a lot of Christmas songs I played/recorded live on spur of the moment using my MIDI piano one Christmas eve.
This card shows a small Christmas scene and loops through the songs. I used a filled circle SUB to give the picture some animation, as well as falling snow outside the window.
You can let all the songs play in order, or skip them using the Left/Right arrow keys. ESC exits.

That is lovely graphic perfect to go with the music, the snow fall and blinking lights keep it from being a static still picture. I guess thats why You Tube stuff keeps messing with a still picture to keep attention on the screne.
I have to compliment again how i like those riffs or arrangements of music that deviatiate from the same ole, same ole straight Classic tune, like the graphics it keeps me paying attention because it is different and interesting for novelness to the ear.
Dav do you just play straight from the sheet music or write your own or riff off the sheet music you play from?

Thanks bplus. I wasn’t using any music, just playing off the cuff, improvising. Each time its different.
These are the same midi files you got a year or so ago. I was going to post them alone, but thiught why not just use them this way instead.

Thanks Dav, a great Christmas Card. Hope you and yours have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year as well. I played this card with the expectation that there may be an animation where you walk in and sit at the piano. You are of course wearing a red suit and carrying a glass of eggnog.
