Paint Pixels
#11
I just removed opening and saving with GIF because every time I saved as GIF, it added .png at the end of it for some reason. Must be something within QB64. When someone doesn't add any ending, it saves as .jpg, which is good in my opinion. I edited the .zip file above and will add it again on this post.

Edit: There was one string problem I had to fix. I will post the newest version on the next post.

I just fixed a string problem from the dialog box, when you closed it without choosing nothing to open or save, there was an error message, so I fixed it.

Here is the new zip file of Paint Pixels 8. I'll delete the one on the first page.

Edit: Zip removed to fix a minor error. Will add fixed version below.

Huh.  I just added .GIF save option to your latest version and it seems to work just fine on Windows.

That's very odd, because I just tried adding .gif again and saving a .gif pic but it still came out .gif.png
Is there any other code you add to it? I use Windows 10 and my QB64 version is 3.1.1.0. Do you have a newer version?
Thanks for the heads up.
Edit: Nevermind, I found out that the newest QB64 supports GIF and my older one didn't. I added GIF again and will post it on the next post.

Here is the fixed version with GIF support again. My older QB64 didn't support it and now I upgraded to the newest one and it works.

Paint Pixels 8 supports: JPG, PNG, GIF, and BMP.

Download the zip file here.

Looks like GIF save support is new to 3.14.0.  (https://github.com/QB64-Phoenix-Edition/QB64pe/pull/520)

Thanks grymmjack! Thanks for the picture posts too! Dav made that welcome screen years ago for me and B+ and others helped me along with the rest. Smile
