Plus you have all of us to help you learn if you want to!

Take care, and hope this helps!
Wow, what a great explanation Grymmjack!  I am following this exactly and wish I had this write up when I started using it all.  Cheers!
No worries @Space_Ghost ! Glad to help.

People who haven't had to use GitHub are numerous, but there is this assumption I think for developers to just know and use git. This isn't true for retro programmers, and every chance I can I try to indoctrinate them and guide them because it's really a great thing, and not that bad of a learning curve.

Some folks refuse, but hey that's OK too. Not everyone has to do everything like everyone else. That's just one of the many things that makes the internet so fantastic.

Glad you found it helpful. Please reach out if you have any questions about GitHub or git, but I'm no guru myself.

I'll just leave a photo of my favorite git book here:

book is fake, but also true for 99% of us who use git at all lol, and it's because we're lazy programmers.

Speaking of that! I found a great thing earlier called lazygit! It's a CLI based tool that takes some pain out of the equation for git too. Check it out: lazygit
