he has had a long love afair with Quick Basic http://www.petesqbsite.com/coranto/main_...hive.shtml

That's a different Pete @Jack

Our Pete has another QB forum he maintains, I've lost the link along with hard drives over summer.
Steve might still have it? Tap-A-Talk of something like that...

Looks like Pete's last post on this forum was Dec 24, 2022. At least that's when I think it was. Hope he had a Happy Christmas and Merry New Year. Appears the California flooding began Dec 31, 2022.

I hope Pete is only going through what I have during the fall of 2017. Unfortunately it might mean he keeps away in March as well...

Not easy to go through three months without electricity, not to mention without Internet for some people, at least one month without electronic banking and without portable Wifi. Whoever had food stamps had to pay cash for everything without desire, until electronic banking was restored enough for example in supermarkets.

after over a year of absence, Pete logged in and answered my PM, he is on AOL so his connection time is probably limited
hopefully he will post and tell us what happened
<edit> for people that don't know, AOL = America On Line https://www.aol.com/

I have some unopened AOL CDs and diskettes with codes from the late 90's for extra free minutes if he needs them. Big Grin
There are two ways to write error-free programs; only the third one works.
