qbjs evolving program #1

This site is becoming unusable to me lately. Some of you have to think about the persons less fortunate than you, while you enjoy your 1000-Mega Internet. I'm using Firefox and have to allow it to finish downloading that large horrible clown face. If not, the "Rate" button and nothing else works on this page. Another thing is that while entering a reply the text suddenly disappears sometimes while I'm typing. This is just horrible. A good deal of the text I was typing in here right now disappeared at its pleasure, thank you Mozilla!

From now on I am forced to compose a reply in a text editor, then copy and paste from there into this forum. Impossible to reply quickly that way.

The latest program has an interesting result but it looks weird with the photons going "behind" the face, and then seeing the "nose" inflating.

EDIT: To be able to load this page tolerably, I had to use Ublock Origin on the clown face pictures because Internet is becoming less tolerable than ever, that and the forum banner since the contests for that banner.

The government does offer assistance for Internet access. I happen to be getting a little discount offered from cable company. They (no not the government nor cable company but something I find in newspaper often) are even offering refurbished computers in my area.

I will be doing spaceships as threatened before if no one else jumps in say 24 hours if I can wait that long...

but I wonder if @grymmjack has any ideas?

I can recommend the firefox plugin noscript, it allows you to whitelist javascript or block everything outright.  I had it for a while to remove even more adware than ublock but it got too annoying as everything these days has js.  I guess you could temp block qbjs.org or block everything outright for a read-only style and unblock as you see fit.  I was also thinking a thread of qbjs b+ mods might start to hang the browser a bit but so far it works well for me with my slow hardware

The "qbjs" stuff is loading OK for me. But the trouble is with JPEG, PNG or something else that is straight-out linked and especially if it's large. Not as attachment or via "ibb.co" way. Sometimes those pictures come from servers which download at punishingly low speeds. It doesn't matter the time of day. Late last year I had the most trouble around 2000 hours ESTDST.

With the "qbjs" code I find on this site, I prefer to open the dialog to get the web address to open in a separate tab. But someday that address is going to become too long...

It's just me being a bit superstitious. I want to make sure I could edit the code a bit, change the size of the window panes and stuff like that.

damn, that's rough.  likely you can do something about not loading images, maybe some kind of click to load script or plugin.  you must be rationing your pornography to like once a month or what?

Well actually the clown gets blown up soon enough in a skill-less sort of splash screen. Not sure I want to be haunted the rest of the time with clowns...
I only put it in a loop because there was nothing else to do and who is satisfied with only doing it once?

BTW I inserted my spaceship into the Summer Banner I made and armed it with a Plasma Laser Cannon, showed it firing and gave a whole new meaning to what the people were doing on the beach! LOL so I've had my fill of spaceship insertions for awhile

How bout running a maze with mouse control being pursued by clown faces?
