Hi Dav
Think I mentioned to you a while back, that your 10 x 10 tile game is a go to of mine while stumped on a coding issue or just taking a break, while today, for the first time ever, the game hit a stalemate. I couldn't place a formed figure in the tile but neither did I get a game over notice. Here is a screen print of the stalemated board.

Hmm, I must have missed some checking with that bottom piece shape, if it was rotated it would fit on the board, probably falsely reporting as a fit. Forgot so much about the code. I’ll have to look the code over again and see what I messed up. What version is that? Looks like an older one. Thanks for the report.
Version is 13Feb22, but no need to fix anything Dave. Been playing this game for quite awhile now and this is the first time I have encountered this, so odds are it will be another few years before it comes up again. Last month showed the game to my granddaughter age 5 .. big mistake .. anytime she sees me on the computer she wants to play this game. She has terrible mouse coordination, terrible decisions on most strategic place for each form and a terrible understanding of the whole point of the game. But she loves it. Go figure.
@Dimster, thanks for sharing that story. I'm real glad this program has brought some joy/fun to someone. I now recall I did make another version of this game but never posted it. It was a portable version that required no external media files, and I also fixed a few glitches. Will try to dig it up.
The same stalemate screen happened to me this morning, Dimster. But after clicking again a new game started. Looking over the code I don't an error in the validation. I'm thinking the game does end, but the screen doesn't get updated to show it. I'll have to dig deeper into this later. Busy weekend.
