@bplus See?  No "NEW REPLY" needed.  I just typed into the existing message box and hit "POST REPLY"!!

The @ and name will send a message letting the person know you replied to them specifically, and it'd take a real effort on someone's part to not be able to figure out what the response was concerning, since the posts flow one directly after the other in sequential order.

I write replies so automatically I didnt even remember how I do it.

I just tested the Reply button and realized what habit Phil has been doing to constantly get the quotes.

I do probably just use the Quick Reply at bottom, clicking no New Reply button let alone the Reply button.

BUT! one drawback with the Quick Reply (no Reply or New Reply button click) you arent offered the add attachment option at the bottom of the editor but only given the crappy "add image to post" option that works so poorly.

... and then there were three!
Now I know they're there, I'll be able to make use of those options.
It pays to look.

I typically use the quick reply section at the bottom of the page and click the quote button on a specific post when I want to insert a quote and then I trim it up so only the relevant part that needs quoting is quoted.
The noticing will continue

The quote thing is a good hint. I use it often, too, and even if the comment I'm replying to is two or three pages ahead, everyone still knows who I'm referring to.

Example:
Quote:@bplus . . . and his circles . . .   Tongue
I love these girls!  Heart  Big Grin
