The reverse of _droppedfile extended function needed

This is going to be easy or as hard as it can be.  I have used _droppedfile function many times and love it.  Now I find myself needing the reverse ability.  AKA take a list (in clipboard maybe) and drop it on another external program.  The external program can not take clipboard content as the drop.  But I can drag n drop directories inside and it works.  What is inside the directory is mixed content.  I need to only process certain files and not all.  Hence the need of QB64pe to make a compatible drop file to drop on the external program.  I am open to a non-qb64pe solution.

Idea's maybe ???
