Is there a maximum of 5 attachments per thread? The system has just stopped me putting up a new thread with this limit.

@Magdha it was 5, yes, I set it to 0 to disable that limit, vs. raising it by x2 and then having someone else need more.
If it becomes an issue @SMcNeill we can always put a limit back on - but no limit seems safe-ish. Thoughts?

Usually, for convenience's sake, you'd just zip them all up into one folder, compress them, and offer them for download as a package rather than as a half dozen different files. I mean, can you imagine someone uploading each and every sound file independently onto the forms. "A.wav" "B.wav" "C.wav" "D.wav"... Sure, folks can pick and choose what they'd like from the list in that format, but you're going to end up having to track dozens of downloads to make certain all succeeded, none timed out, none were interrupted, you didn't skip any... It's just a pain to have countless files to download and track, when you can be much nicer to the user base by just letting them grab it as one file and then extract as needed/wanted.
That said, it really doesn't matter too much. Where you'll hit the *REAL* limit is in total file size. I've set the server to accept the largest uploads possible, but it's not a large limit. 200MB per post or such, if I remember correctly. Even if you break your download into 20 files, you still can't surpass that final size limit. Either you'll need to break it down into multiple posts of 200mb, or else you'll need to host the file elsewhere (icloud, dropbox, wherever) and then link to it for others to grab and enjoy.

It's a bit of a magnum opus. I remember, now, the limit from years ago when I'd have put things in Dropbox. But I've since ditched my Dropbox account.
I'll do it by one main post in the thread, then four replies each with several attachments. Posterity will be pleased have the nonsense stuff.

Grymm removed the number of file limit for you. You *can* post 50 attachments in one post if you want now. Unfortunately, you're still stuck with the 200MB per post total size limit. That's a server/forum hard limit and not something we can change out for you.

I once tried to upload a jpeg of Stacy Abrams, but the forum message said: Until she goes on a diet this upload exceeds the single post 200MB limit.
Seriously, Richard, just zip it! Pete
