Actually the wife is great. I got an electric drum set, but then realized' why not get more out of it by converting it to a gas powered version? So I did and it didn't go well. They literally BEAT the _ _ _ _ out of me.

Returning to an earlier question by @PhilOfPerth I found this explanation of why a guitar is tuned the way it is. My guess wasn't too far off the mark.
