@Cobalt 8-26-2021 is the latest version I could find of this.  Is this the final version, or do you have any updated versions of this which can be used to replace this one?  This is a masterful port of the NES game to QB64 and deserves to be highlighted and showcased forevermore!  Wink

What error messages are you getting?   Also what OS, and what version of QB64PE?

I was able to open this in QB64PE version 3.13.1 and get it to compile (Run-->Start) with no errors.  I am using a PC running Windows 10 (64-bit).

I did think of one possible issue:
Make sure the .EXE is in the same folder where you un-zipped this (Run-->Output .EXE to Source Folder).
When you run this, it loads a bunch of data from the "DragonWV1.MFI" file which is included inside the .ZIP

After several years I have finally fixed some bugs.

Fixed:
Fixed issue where when staying at an inn some features were missing in several towns.
Fixed crash issue if player talked to old man with Rainbow Drop more than once.
Corrected dialog of the old man with Rainbow drop.

Saved games from before should still work fine with these changes.
