How to add a Poll to a Thread

It must be obvious, but I don't know how to put a poll in a thread.  When you tick the "I want to post a Poll", it doesn't generate a poll form - doesn't show up in Preview Post.  Do you have post the thread and add the poll later?
You can always rely on Magdha to ask the dimmest questions.

It's been a while since I last posted a poll, so I had to go back and check it myself, so if anyone saw a topic FOO by Steve that disappeared a few moments later, that was me testing out the process to make certain nothing had broken with it. 

What you do is tick the "I want to post a Poll" and tell it how many choices you want to offer people.

Then you click the POST THREAD button and the post itself that you made is displayed and you go to a second page afterwards where you can make your poll and set the options you want for various things.  

Then click "STEVE IS AWESOME AND PETE IS A POOPHEAD!!"  and you're done!
