I recently reflected that some time in the last few decades, we stopped being able to see the individual pixels on our displays. Putting your eye right up to the television to reveal the RGB components of the colors isn't really possible anymore unless you get a drop of water on your phone screen.

This is sweet @sprezzo! Well done man. I remember when I was a little boy pressing my face flat up against wonder woman's breasts and then my eyes were betrayed by a glorious light show of dots and fuzz. They are still using the old tricks too! Even in the latest Apple iPad - this video shows what I mean:
