I was going to say how that's one way of avoiding carpal tunnel syndrome, but it turns out there's a "tarsal tunnel syndrome" too!
It is a bit uncomfortable at times, but not as bad as cranial tunnel syndrome, which can be mind numbing, or the absolute worst, coyote tunnel syndrome, which results in complete unconsciousness after chasing a roadrunner into a mountain with a tunnel painted on it.
