48.02 seconds : program compiled with original qb64
18.13 seconds : program compiled with -O2
16.60 seconds : program compiled with -O3
17.25 seconds : program compiled with -Ofast
BTW, I make it habit to change the program source by adding and deleting a space to ensure that the source will be recompiled
