How I view this - if I use the product and truly use the product then I should consider donating 'something'. As a metric I present this to clients:
"Imagine that you no longer had this...would it be a hardship for you".
Sooo...imagine that QB64pe was gone and you had no way to get it back, or perhaps imagine there is a critical bug that you cannot work around and there was no one to fix it - would that create a hardship? If the answer is YES then consider donating.
Just so no one considers me a hypocrite, yes I donate here and have it set to donate annually as QB64pe IS an integral part of my business. For the same reason I donate annually to Wikipedia as well.
