_DISPLAY: Would it be of any use to have parameters?

Although I can't think of a glowing use case for this, it has been on my mind for the last couple of days.

Would that be a useful thing?

Oh,I forgot to mention: optional parameters.  When not specified, _display is for the whole guacamole.
