Me personally, I think the last time I dealt with *anything* spam-related was proabably about a little over a year ago, but Pete *still* came back. /sigh! And I tried so hard to pay Mother Nature, the PGA golf guys, and his wife into ust keeping him!!
It's rare for a spam bot to make it all the way through the authorization process to become a full member. Once they do, just about every name in color at the bottom of your screen has the right to "Ban Spammer", so it becomes a contest on who can kick them the fastest. Normally they might get up to three posts off, and then POOF them and all their posts are gone! We have a very active and lively forum base here, with lots of folks who are trusted to keep things neat and tidy, and as such, spam bots probably spend more effort trying to sign up and post on us than any one indivudial here has to spend having to deal with them.
Thanks Steve. It's good to know we're being looked after... not that there's anything that they can "span" out of me anyway!

Or did you get PM'd (Personal Message) from HappyBar?
It was from Happy Bar - how did you know that? But I'm pretty sure it wasn't a PM, G-Mail just said "You've received a new post from QB64" (or something like that), and a brief precis of the post, which it does for all posts I've subscribed to.
Of all the places on Earth, and all the planets in the Universe, I'd rather live here (Perth, W.A.)
