Full Screen Not Working Anymore.
#4
I tried all the various _Fullscreen switches before, all without any luck. That's when I figured out it must be the Windows display settings, which I changed awhile back so I can maintain the aspect ratio of the desktop when I open and close the lid. So that's definitely the problem, but unfortunately the compatibility fixes you listed do not resolve this issue. Now maybe I'd have to go to the extent of rebooting the whole system to be sure, which I will leave for another day. What I did discover is that if I start the program with the lid open and the resultant no display then close the lid, it will run full screen perfectly, but lifting the lid, to access the keyboard causes the graphics to cut out. The sound still functions, and the program plays in the background, but you cannot move the ship or see the computer generated graphics. Close the lid again, and all those missing components return. Again, no luck with various compatibility settings while working with the two lid positions.

Unfortunately, Microsoft has has problems with the lid issues for quite some times. Although other apps seem to work with the changes in the lid from open to closed, our QB64PE ones apparently do not. Again though, I might have to reboot my system to be sure of that last statement.
