This looks fantastic! But my arrow keys aren't working for some reason? Press P to play didn't do anything either. I use a Windows 11 computer. I want to play it though.
My friends and I, in 1987, stayed up all night punching in the COMPUTE! code to my Franklin 2000 (Apple 2e clone), using the BASIC and Machine Language reader. Except it didn't work because the Franklin had a little difference in Machine Language I think. When we tried it at my High School Apple 2 computers, it worked fine. So, around 5 years ago or so I found the same COMPUTE! Magazine PDF on archive.org (which is probably still there) and I got an Apple 2 emulator and punched it into that and got it working. I also re-bought the same COMPUTE! Magazine issue off of eBay a few years ago and will keep it as a memory of my childhood.
I hope I can play this soon, the graphics look pretty much exactly the same.
