Note that there is a glitch in 4.0 from where the compiler was swapped out and the new version is a little pickier on how things are translated than before. We've pushed the fix to this issue into the repo, so if you have an updated version from there, it shouldn't affect you.
Hopefully, we'll see a new release soon(tm) where the fix will go live, along with several other little improvements and fixes.
One thing to try is this simple change:
_MemPut newMem, (offsetTarget), pixel32 As _UNSIGNED LONG
Notice the parenthesis around the middle argument. That's where the glitch is currently at in 4.0, and it's an easy work around to the issue. *IF* that's where the problem is coming from which is affecting you, that might be an easy workaround to the issue unless you want to test the development/repo version, or wait for 4.0.1 to be released.
