Every year, around this time, I like to share our server costs so everyone will know what it costs to upkeep our forums/wiki and all. If you've ever noticed, we're 100% ad-free, self-maintained, and try hard not to pester folks for donations or money and such.
That said, some folks always like to try and contribute whenever our renewal costs come up, so here's their chance to do so, if they wish.
At this point, according to my records, $100 has been pre-donated for this year's cost. That means we're 100% covered -- and then some!! (And that doesn't touch patreon funds which are used only when the expensive data storage part of the bill comes due next year).
IF anyone wishes to donate, I'll accept UP TO an additional $100 to cover the rest of that 5-year subscription. Please don't give any more than that (as a whole community, or an individual) as it'll leave us with unspent donations that I have to track and keep up with. Once we hit our $100 goal, everyone else just kindly keep your cash and donate it next year if you want. The expensive part of the bill comes due then; this year is just trivial domain name/privacy costs and whatnot.
