That's why the version bumped and support was dropped.I think that's misleading, the `2.0` major version bump was because of the recursive function change. Windows XP support was 'officially' dropped in `2.0.1`, but was also accidentally broken in `2.0.0`. That said I still make a distinction between the `2.0.0` "broken" and my `3.5.0` change because in `2.0.0` it was just specific functionality related to fonts, where-as in `3.5.0` it's every program and unavoidable. There's also a specific XP-compatible `2.0.1` release that could be used.
