i don't miss windows7. in fact i'm glad it deprecated. i don't miss the screen flashing whole. for example, whenever i used reaper. on my first 64-bit portable machine. after i obtained a code "0a" error on bsod. i didn't know if it was a blessing. because it allowed me to use ubuntu studio 32-bit from a pen drive. or if it was a wicked turn against me.
that said. windows10 was a poor replacement. a bunch of programs that worked just fine on windowsxp. suddenly had to be put off in windows10. however i did use a couple of programs that were buggy. never made it past "release candidacy." thanks to sloppy programmers offering freeware having to change their real-life priorities.
in case some of you don't know already. i like to do music production on my computer. but i'm anti-pro. (tm)

It still mirrors whatever is under the OneDrive folder, but at least you now have control over what gets saved to the cloud.even before that. in 2022 i used wps office suite. which did this stupid junk. i should have been warned. microsoft would do it also before long. it would have caused me. to get another computer to maintain completely offline.
