I've got an arachnoid cyst that is taking up about 10-15% of the space in my cranium, . . .

That doesn't sound good! I assume you've looked into this for a cure or improvement.

I wasn't aware of it until today, so I looked it up. In Germany, the eye problem would probably be fully covered by health insurance. Regarding arachnoid cysts, the rule here is: "Surgical treatment (endoscopic or microsurgical fenestration/resection) is covered by health insurance if the cyst is symptomatic, i.e., causes symptoms or is growing."

Of course, I don't know how it works in America. And generally speaking, surgery is always unpleasant.
