Once you use it to log it, it should save it for you so you don't have to keep entering it over and over. (Unless your browser clears its cookies and whatnot.) There should be a log out button once you're in the forum, if you ever want to leave it and not worry about what the folks there are talking about anymore.

Should look like the above (which is just a partial screen grab). The forum stores the password once you enter it once, but you can always clear that if you like.
