Designing a home page was a helluva lot easier with them, than it was trying to sort things out with Wordspace. My only question at this point is: How to export the page from there to my own domain? It seems like sites only wants to publish to a goggle sites domain, and basically all you do is end up turning your domain name into a pointer that points back to their website. Can't say that's exactly what I'm looking tor, at all!
I'm not sure how you would do that? I opted to get a new domain name and that domain was automatically linked to Google Sites. When I publish it updates both the Google Sites link and the domain URL at the same time. When I visit the URL it does not link me back to Google Sites like you are experiencing. Perhaps there is a way to transfer your domain to Google Domains?
