Ah I see to save changes to file (which is NOT a file just a program) you select Promote off Project Menu.

Now about saving updated BAM, you might get a Save As Dialog with your Browser but I get an automatic copy of filename made with a (copynumber) appended like from BAM_IDE.HTM to BAM_IDE(1).HTM (with or without a space between BAM_IDE and the (1) ), so now both are in my computer folder.

Now back to video, only 4 mins in.

When setting up these menus and menu items, I struggled mightily trying to figure out proper names for things and what items should go under what menu.

If you know of anything out there on which I can model menus, let me know.

As for saving, keep in mind that BASIC Anywhere Machine is just an instance of TiddlyWiki, so "saver mechanisms" are available to create less friction.

I'm not interested at all in the latest incarnations of TiddlyWiki, so I keep BASIC Anywhere Machine based on the older 5.2.3 version.

See saving options for various operating systems and browsers in the documentation for TiddlyWiki 5.2.3
