Winter Banner?

Ok guys... Midnight draws nearer by the minute.   You folks tell me which of these 8 zillion banners you want me to put up after the New Years starts.  Unless I get one definitive, "This is the one we want", I'm just going to grab whichever one I like the most and go with it and then folks can complain like usual if they want to.   LOL!

I like my plain Arial font or Kernelpanic's sorta "ice block" font on the winter river scene. If I had to pick one, then Kernelpanic's for a more inclusive entry.

Sorry Steve, but your version's font is too light and misses the Logo in my humble opinion.

The font is LatinWidD, size 48. The text was edited with filters in Photoshop; see image.



The filters are:
1. Drop shadow
2. Shine inwards
3. Flattened edge
4. Gloss or Shine

Did those filters use colors from the background or did you supply the colors to use?

No color was used, the filters make it that way. The color of the font is black, like practically all fonts. Difficult to explain if you can't practically understand it. Try it in "paint.net" or Gimp. But the filters probably work differently.
My PS version is 7.01, from 2000.

I have now tried to design this with Gimp, but without an introduction/instructions into how Gimp works it's difficult. I could not do it any better now.
One can probably do it the same way as with Photoshop, but you have to familiarize yourself with how Gimp works, as with any program. It was not any different with Photoshop.

I looked at the logo again in its entirety. This design is just an idea. . . how I personally would find it better.
