I'm starting to upload my older games online and make them public. This is the first QB64 game I've decided to share. Please note: THIS IS A PROTOTYPE.
I wasn’t sure which category to choose for uploading, as this game is not actively in development at the moment. However, I might revisit it in the future.
Reload Canasta - PROTOTYPE

What is this game?
-------------------------
This is a prototype for a Canasta game that I might develop further in the future. Created in 2023, this version includes only the core gameplay with a single game mode. There are no menus or additional enhancements, as this is primarily an archived prototype. This game have been develop with Qb64.
How to play?
-----------------
This is basically a Canasta game against cpu. The gameplay setup is as follows:
- Game Mode: 0-0-0 (0 canasta to go out, 0 canasta for plus score, 0 canasta to meld), also referred to as "DT" or "Drive thru".
- No minimum meld.
- The game goes up to 3000 and then resets.
- A´s are wilds.
- Red 3s are 100 and double if you get all four. A red three can freeze the discard pile.
- Discard Pile Rules: Requires two natural cards to pick up the pile.
Points:
- Clean canasta: 500 points.
- Dirty canasta: 300 points.
- Going out: 100 points.
- Regular card points follow standard Canasta rules.
Meld cards with mouse right, and play cards with mouse left. Pick the pile or cards with mouse right.
At the end of a round, press any key to start the next round.
