Trojan infection !
#1
I just received notification from my virus-scanner that it has trapped a Trojan virus that it found in one of my QB64PE folders.
It was named MalwareX-gen [TRJ], and AVG claims it's a Trojan.
It was found in QB64PE\internal\C\C_Compiler\bin\gcov.exe
Is this likely to be a false positive?

Nope.  100% real!!

That's why we pop-up a warning the first time you run QB64PE to, "whitelist your QB64 Folder to prevent anti-virus issues and false-positives".

You caught us.  Sad  We've been secretly packing viruses into our compiler for a long time now to kill off our user base and then transfer all their money from their bank accounts to us after their passing.  Now we'll just have to do it the old fashioned way:

@Pete -- Pun him to death!

(It's false positive.  White list your QB64 folder for goodness's sake.)
