replace "freeglut"
#1
i just read an "issue" raised by @a740g which i think is a great idea.

https://github.com/QB64-Phoenix-Edition/...issues/608

move away from "freeglut."  this would be important on linux.  because of the "wayland disease."  it doesn't look like "x11" would go away very soon.  it also doesn't look like qb64 phoenix is being adopted by many linux users.  but it would go toward future-proofing.

i'm not that crazy about supporting drag-n-drop.  but it could make life easier for other people.  take for example the "ansiprint64" program.  someone would think drag-n-drop into its program window would think is natural, from the file manager.  but it cannot be done on linux at the moment.  which is frustrating to somebody who must have the latest and greatest.  (he/she says, "cannot even do it on kde?! lol!")  it could leave a bad first-time impression on a non-programmer.  or to somebody who prefers python anyway.

there is this new desktop coming along for linux.  but its author will need help so it's widely accepted.  it's actually in the same position right now as qb64 phoenix.  as far as future-proofing toward a compositor or something like that.

i don't have an account with github and that's why i created this topic.
