Ha! Just viewed all latest updates in Portal. Seems they don't get around to newest stuff in Prolific Programmers Board so here is a little message, GUI Waffle has just been posted here:

Thanks for posting this! I remember someone posting about Wordle a few months ago I think on the old forum. But I was already playing the regular Wordle so I didn't try it. But now that I've been playing the regular Wordle 200 times now, I want a copy for myself. Big Grin

Have you tried both versions? There is a standard QB64 program at <100 LOC and then there is the GUI Wordle with the GUI library Plus 159 LOC. I find that funny, I could do better without GUI. Well the "standard" is hooked up to your editor so you can do word searches, in fact you have to input your words through copy paste of clipboard!

OK reworking mouse click in Waffle and First Text Box Activation in Wordle (considering just one Text Box?).

Waffle fixed, https://qb64phoenix.com/forum/showthread...79#pid4979

Works well now! PS I am impressed how fast Waffle Puzzles are made. I might try a Crosswords with clues. I think word games may help spelling and vocabulary not to mention keeping the mind sharp.

Oh my! The real on-line Wordle Game uses a 28 button keyboard that color codes the keys tried. That is a nice feature! that I will try and duplicate in next update. So it's Labels and Buttons, no Text Boxes.

OK Wordle is better than ever! Now that the letters on Keyboard are color coded, you can see what was guessed already and what worked in 2 different views

Here is Sample:

Repacking Waffle and Wordle now so you can play all night tonight and be Wordle and Waffle pros when you go On-line tomorrow. ;-))
