#1
Out of curiosity, anyone else participating in the Jam for All BASIC Dialects (#5) that's going on through December?

I didn't know about it. Do they run the Jam every year? Sounds like fun.

It is pretty fun.  I think he's actually done 2 each year.  I participated in #3.

As far as game jams go it is real relaxed too.  You have a whole month to make your game, you can use existing art and sound assets, and you can choose from three different themes.  Seems like an opportunity for some good publicity for QB64.

I agree, let us know when the next BASIC Jam is going to start. I'll get in on the next one. Too much going on with the holidays now and such for this one.

This looks cool. I'd bet that either Terry or MasterGy would win.

Hi all!

Well the submission period just ended for the game jam.  Out of around 27 participants there were 7 final submissions representing a number of different BASIC languages:  AppGameKit, Visual Basic, PureBasic, Monkey X, AOZ studio.  There was even an additional QBJS submission besides my own.

Voting is open to the public.  You can check it out here:

My submission is called “Ruins of Zeugma”.  (If you followed the fall banner contest earlier in the year you might recognize the character sprite.)

That seems like a win, with just that!

Which was the other QBJS?
