QB64PE Color Name List (html)
#1
Something which I was playing around with for us -- a list of the $COLOR:32 names, color preview, and hex/rgb32 values.

The end goal is to eventually add this list to our wiki (thus the html format for the page), for ease of reference, but what we have here should be a nice quick-reference guide for anyone who'd want it.  Smile

Enjoy, guys!

Great work!
I'm forever trying to find appropriate colours by trial and error.
That chart will be at my fingertips henceforth. Thank you.  Big Grin

Colors Galore

A German forum member added this link a while back and I saved it. The colors are a bit more, uh, orderly at this site.  Wink

They may be, but they aren't the ones you get if you add a $COLOR statement to your code to enable the QB64PE color names.  Big Grin

Code: (Select All)
SCREEN _NEWIMAGE(640, 480, 32)
$COLOR:32
LINE (0, 0)-(639, 479), Gold, BF
LINE (100, 100)-STEP(400, 200), Silver, BF
LINE (200, 150)-STEP(200, 100), BananaMania, BF

Try the above in your version of QB64PE, and you'll see that the color names match the colors on the list I provided.  Wink

Our color list is basically HTML colors + CRAYOLA colors.

Now, if someone wants to separate them into lists of Red/Green/Blue and various hues, I'll leave that task up to them.  Me?  I'm just happy to see them all available and listed for us finally somewhere, so folks can perhaps start using COLOR MacoraniAndCheese in their code somewhere!   Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Ahhh, okay. Didn't get that. I can't wait to use BlanchedAlmonds and FuzzyWuzzy! Thanks, Amazing Steve.
