Just in case anyone doesn't fully appreciate this forum...

Here's what you get on an Intel forum...

https://community.intel.com/t5/Graphics/...-p/1379336

Don't you hate it when you read a help post and the replies to it only show the morons... oops, excuse me, gurus, who reply to it act as if they didn't even read the simple question in the first place? What? Fill out a special standardized form? Why not give a flocking Power Point presentation while you are at it! Argh!!!!!!!!

Hard to believe Trump is investing billions of our tax dollars in Intel.

Well, at least we can always rely on Steve and the QB64 forum team to give us a

Good news and bad news.

The good news is thanks to bplus, you now know how to start a new thread.

The bad news is that since you went off topic, you are banned from this forum until stardate 2071.4 Big Grin

Just kidding, of course, but the joke actually brings me back on topic by realizing besides not answering or even taking the time to understand a question, an off-topic post is also often a problem on other forums. Here, we just communicate well without the need for constant rules, excessive oversight, and enforcement. It's a lot the QBasic Forum of old, featured in the third sequel of Jurasic Park. Maybe you remember that site, as we are from the same era, and strangely enough, while I didn't become a chemist like yourself, I did tutor general chemistry in pre-med. Anyway, hope to see more of your posts, even though I don't use a Raspberry Pi.

Oh, and from the reply by bplus,, using the @ sign in front of the user name, as it appears in the top-left of the post by the avatar, sends a private message to that member, so he or she can follow a link to the post. @Rudy_M

I'd checked the admin properties.  I have no idea why Rudy can't post a new post.  He's an existing member (as you can see from his posts here), and he's not banned or moderated or under any usual status.  No warning level or anything else unsual going on.

As far as I can tell, I can't sort out any reason why he shouldn't be able to make a new post.   I've asked grymm to take a look at the admin settings on his account as well, and if @Pete wants to snoop around in the Admin Control Panel (ACP) to see if he spots something I've missed, he's more than welcome to do so.   As is though, I just don't see any reason why he can't make a new post.

And don't get me wrong; I'm not saying that he's wrong.  I'm just saying *I* can't see any reason why he shouldn't be able to do it.  Everything on our end sends up to be working and configured as I'd expect, unless I'm just overlooking something somewhere and not seeing the issue.
