Holy crap it's hot!

Living in Las Vegas and experiencing 117°F really changed the way I view heat. If it's under 100°F, not so bad as long as you're got some shade! Ideally, a swimming pool.

The hot season lasts for 3.4 months, from June 2 to September 15, with an average daily high temperature above 95°F. The hottest month of the year in Las Vegas is July, with an average high of 104°F and low of 80°F.
The cool season lasts for 3.2 months, from November 18 to February 24, with an average daily high temperature below 66°F. The coldest month of the year in Las Vegas is December, with an average low of 39°F and high of 58°F.

I'm definitely thankful for air conditioning, and anywhere with covered parking. I genuinely used to wonder how people survive here, but I only knew humid heat.
