I only used VB script once. I needed a ton of help from Mac to get it working. It was a dialer app. I was able to get it to interface with my QB program to dial numbers on my cable phone. Too bad all that port stuff went the way of the Dodo (Gate's middle name).
I'd give Steve's right arm to have a modern phone dialing app in QB64.
Oh, and you can't make this stuff up, but back in the day there was this company that was working on some sort of dialer software. Talk about Pete's "Dumb idea of the day." Oh, nothing wrong with the company concept, it was their .com name they didn't think through...
