Oh I remember that one now. I stumbled on it some years ago, but it was too tedious and for 'panic's sake it won't prevent including quoted posts. Network54 had a better method than this option but went the way of the dinosaur. I still keep up an active membership, hoping one day to exercise my oil rights, especially since Trump killed the California EV mandate.

One don't need a program for meaningful quoting.
I've learned to do it this way: Only quote the relevant parts of a comment, the parts necessary for understanding the reply.

For example, if a post only contains two lines:
You could also do this...

In this case there is no problem with a "full quote." It's about the page-long full quotes that ultimately don't contribute to understanding. That's what it's all about! One don't need a program for that.
