Offline Wikipedia programmed in QB64 Phoenix Edition
#1
I created an offline text mode version of Wikipedia (based on the Simple English edition, but replaceable with any other version) using QB64 Phoenix Edition.
Just unzip the files, search for an article, and use the left/right arrow keys to browse between pages.
If it runs on your computer (Windows), let me know. I'll credit you as a tester on Archive.org. I only tested it on my own computer so testing it is very appreciated.
People who want to port this to OS X or Linux! Please do! I'll upload your port and credit you as well.

Download the ZIP file here:
https://archive.org/details/wikipedia_202506

I included the source files as well.

As I said on FB, it's incredible Squirrel Monkey. It takes I think around 850 MB of hard drive space. Imagine what it would be with the real pictures. lol Great job! I have no idea how you calculated the parsing on .json files.

Thank you.
The hardest part was the UTF-8 conversion to  CP437/OEM US. And I am sure that I forgot some characters, but the most important ones are included.
