The constant tiredness will get better with each passing day. The right opportunity to read a book that is not about Basic. If you are interested in history, especially American history, I can recommend a book: Battle Cry of Freedom - The Civil War Era, James M McPherson, 1988. A very good book about America and its history.
Of course I have the German edition, for the original my English is not good enough. The German edition, if anyone is interested: Für die Freiheit sterben

Another good one about that war is "Co. Aytch" by Samuel R. Watkins,

It's a firsthand account by a soldier who found himself fighting for the wrong side, and it's fascinating (and quite horrific at points)!

I had read about it before, thanks for the reminder. I just ordered the book - it's also available in German.

History has always interested me. Through "Co.Aytch" I came across other interesting books about the American Civil War, and I ordered two of them - in German (of course there are also the originals):

Very interesting, I will look for English versions.
Here is one I just came across, " Hardtack and Coffee".
I wonder how any of this can find its way into a QB64 program?
Maybe a simulatiom, or a text adventure in that setting...

Thanks! For me it's the other way around, the English version is too difficult for me.
