Games written with help of tutorial
#1
I've noticed people posting code snippets and referring to the game tutorial as inspiration. If you write a game and wish it to be included in the list of games on the tutorial site let me know. I'm more than happy to showcase your game for you.

One thing you'll need to agree to though is that the source code must be included for others to learn from. I won't post pre-compiled .EXEs since there's no learning value there and no way to verify the program is destructive in any way.

If you want a ONE KEY use only game, which shows you can build a game using just one key, I resurrected this from our old .rip site for Halloween. The graphics intro and sound are complements of TheBOB at The QBasic Forum.

Some months ago, I borrowed a deck of cards from TheBOB and used them to turn my ASCII poker slots game into something a bit more colorful.

PS Mark, loved your blackjack game. How did you get the cards? Bob actually made his as a bitmap, back in 1990 something. Both decks look about the same, but I imagine you used image files.

I shopped around for cards, I think Dave had a set that worked out well. I'll have to check the credits to know for sure.

Fully featured Sudoku app using Xmas Images instead of numbers. (You can find the standard numbers version in my little corner of this forum.) You can build your own puzzles (from a solution, level 0 or copy a puzzle from newspaper level 9 hmm might be a little different with images?) or play 8 different levels provided check out the help file which is also the first screen of app. You could replace the 9 images with your own just use the same file names.
