qb64.org forum archive
#1
Since the qb64.org forum has ceased to exist I have deployed a copy of it at https://qb64forum.alephc.xyz from the data I have locally from January when the site moved servers. I expect to keep it there mostly indefinitely, but I make no promises. Feel free to clone it with httrack or similar, but please be gentle to the machine.

This is intended to be an archival copy, so registration and login is disabled.

Any chance whatsoever that it'd be possible to merge the idb files from archive.com which RC Cola uploaded, with yours, to bring the forum fully up to date?

As it so happens, yes.

I have updated the database, and the recent attachments should appear promptly once they finish uploading.

Does/is there a link to where that older stuff is on archive.org? Thanks, Michelle

@Michelle

Archive.org only has a few of the earlier index pages. As soon as you click on thread links, you usually come up with an empty page.

Use the link luke placed in his original post: https://qb64forum.alephc.xyz

I visited just awhile ago, it's up, and it looks like most everything, up to April 16th, is there.

Nice, thanks Luke.  Also, don't be such a sourpuss and come back!

If anyone has missed out on the sheer pleasure of reading this thread, enjoy!

Yes, Vince, I saw all of that just before the site went RIP.

See Steve? You used to think I was a drama queen, when in reality, I'm just a duchess!

Pete

No matter, I still feel pretty.
